In the early 1990s, when East Delhi’s healthcare infrastructure was struggling to keep up with rising demand—especially in specialized areas like cardiology—Dr. B. L. Jain recognized the urgent need for accessible, high-quality cardiac care. As one of the first interventional cardiologists in the region, he not only envisioned but also established Delhi Heart Hospital, a dedicated center for cardiovascular health. Dr. Jain’s academic journey laid a strong foundation for his medical excellence. After earning his MBBS from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College in 1982, he pursued MD in General Medicine from Allahabad University, followed by a DM in Cardiology from the prestigious GB Pant Institute, University of Delhi, in 1993. Further honing his skills in advanced cardiac life support, he trained at the Nova Scotia Heart Foundation in Canada. With this robust educational background, Dr. Jain has developed deep expertise in coronary artery disease, hypertension, heart failure, arrhythmias, and preventive cardiology, making him a trusted name in Indian cardiac care.
